This is a duet for two Snare Drums (low and hight) for advanced players combining a four part fugue with challenging rhythmic structures and virtuoso techniques.

Leander Kaiser has won a third prize at the "International Composition Contest 2011" of the PAS - Italy in Fermo with his composition SchattenSägenFuge for Piccolo and Field-Drum (two players). In the category "percussion duo to sextet" no first and no second prize has been awarded this year.
