A memory - a reality that once was, collected images, emotions and situations that now only exist in our thoughts. But how do our memories change over time?

"Varsovia" - the title of the piece refers to the composer's birth city and expresses her relationship to it in musical thoughts. A childish memory that is constantly changing with the passing of time and is today a very different one than it used to be.

It is portrayal of the nowadays peaceful city that always remembers its turbulent history.

"Varsovia" contains influences of Polish romantic music. These are combined with contemporary musical styles and a modern marimba playing technique.
