This number was composed as a solo and ensemble festival piece for four middle school percussionists. What makes this composition unique is that it was written for bass dram, timpani, tom-toms, and either the crown of the cymbal or a break drum. Easy to learn, fun to play, limited rehearsal time for the director and the performer. As the title suggests°Xthis piece really moves, with many repeated rhythmic patterns interesting enough for all levels of students.
