INFORMATION
In 2011, on the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Tàmmittam Percussion Ensemble, Guido Facchin came up with the idea of a celebratory double-CD set. Now, after a year of work, the project has come to completion and Dynamic can publish this unique programme, which includes some works in première recording.
CD one opens with Germaine Tailleferre’s Hommage a Rameau (1964) and Bruno Maderna’s Concerto per due pianoforti e strumenti (1948-49), two works that mark the beginning - it was 1992 - of his collaboration with the Dynamic label.
