Rohema 5 A Evolution - american Hickory, lacquered, acorn tip,15.957″ x 0.563″
The Drumstick classic 5a in a new, innovative outfit: Rohema 5a Evolution. Developed was evolution as part of a research project of Rohema and the Institute of Musical Instrument Construction (IFM).
The 5a Evolution has a significantly longer shoulder than the classic 5a stick. This not only produces much more rebound, but also more speed and drive. These also took the measurements of the institute. Significantly higher rebound rates compared to the conventional 5a Hickory Drumstick could be measured. The focus of 5a evolution remains absolutely the same, because the end of the stick was specifically rounded off. The usual weight is also preserved because the evolution is made from Hickory a heavier weight class. This compensates for the loss of mass.
The higher density of the wood also has a positive effect on the durability of the stick. With the rejuvenation on the end of the embroidery, you also get a better feeling for when you get from the optimal flexibility.
