Andreas Wohlfahrt studied at the Conservatorium Maastricht (Netherlands) as well as the Bhatkhande Music Institute Lucknow (India) and has been working as a drum teacher since 1998.

In his book Music for Wooden Boxes, he conveys a rhythmic repertoire for Cajón and uses eight example performances to show how the rhythms presented can be used to create pieces for a performance. These pieces are arranged in one, two and three voices.
In addition, audio files with rhythm examples and playalong versions of all performances are available free of charge on the Internet.
